Dr. Hina Patel

Dr. Patel was born and raised in Illinois, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Illinois-Chicago. Dr. Patel went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. Following graduation, Dr. Patel completed her residency at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami. She serves as a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a distinction granted to a small percentage of optometrists showing achievement in professional and academic endeavors.

Dr. Patel is ready to bring her expertise from 11+ years of clinical experience in both private and retail practice, teaching optometric students and lecturing on various ocular disease topics to her private practice.

​​​​​​​Dr. Patel and her family (including her 2 most adorable kiddos) reside nearby in Elmhurst. You can find her taking pilates, running, yoga (pretty much anything), enjoying family time and exploring the world with her husband (when she finds the time).
